Kata, My Friend, My Muse

From my early days in photography, I have photographed Kata, one of my best friends, at different stages of her life. I have observed her continuous growth over the past nine years, despite the challenges life has presented her. We have had our ups and downs in our own lives but have always supported each other in facing the unexpected challenges that have shaped us and become part of our identities. I have watched her evolve into the young, confident woman she is today.

To honor her inspiring strength, I chose to photograph her without the layers of clothing that imply status and style. I aimed to capture her essence, her strength without any shields, revealing the raw beauty of her resilience.
